Bye Bad Cramps FAQs

1) How do I use the medication?

  • Begin taking Bye Bad Cramps two days before your period is due. The first dose (taken in the morning) is two packets. The second dose (taken in the evening) is one packet. Thereafter, take one packet twice daily (one in the morning and one in the evening) through your third day of bleeding.

2) Do I need to track my period schedule?

  • In order to use this product optimally, it's recommended to have an understanding of your period cycle. Please use our period tracking guide to get started. If you are new to tracking or if you are very irregular, consider upgrading to the 3-month prepaid package so that you have extra in case of dosing mistakes.

3) What are the side effects?

  • Common side effects include abdominal pain, nausea, heartburn, dizziness and lightheadedness. More rare but serious side effects of this and other NSAIDs include severe allergic reactions and stomach bleeding. If you experience a side effect, please stop using the medication and see your doctor.

4) What happens if I start the pack too late?

  • There is no harm in starting the pack too late. However, you may notice some breakthrough period pain at the start of your period.

5) What happens if I start the pack too early?

  • There is no harm in starting the pack too early. However, you may notice some breakthrough pain toward the middle of your period. Extensor packs are coming soon!

6) Is there an easy way to remember to take a dose?

  • If you don't have an estimate for when your next period will start, we recommend using LH strips. LH strips are used to predict when you are about to ovulate. When your body experiences the LH surge (a positive LH test) you should start taking your first dose of Bye Bad Cramps medication 14 days later.

7) What if I miss a dose?

  • There is no harm in missing a dose. However, this product works best when taken before symptoms start. If you miss a dose, you may notice some breakthrough symptoms. Do not double up if you miss a dose.

8) What precautions should I follow?

  • In rare cases, naproxen may cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision or other impairment of mental abilities. If these effects are noted, please avoid performing tasks that require mental alertness for 12 hours after taking the medication. Indicated for ages 12 and older.

9) What dietary instructions should I follow?

  • Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, continue your normal diet. Risk of stomach bleed increases if you consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day.

  • Bye Bad Cramps should be taken with a full glass of water. If upset stomach occurs, take with food or milk.
